Let the solder flow! ;-)

I have been wanting to learn to solder, even though I adore cold connections, there are times when soldering a joint or two pieces together just works better with the design. I tinkered this weekend with the solder, and the constant encouragement of some GREAT talented artists on the Jewelry Artists Network forum and here is the result - my very first sterling sheet ring! (I've done wire rings before..)

















So cut up some solder, pop the top off the Prips, fire up the torch....and let the solder flow!
