So, my favorites for gemstones, both run of the mill for more basic jewelry and higher end for well, higher end schtuff:
Gem Resources - Shirley is great. :-)
CR Designs Idaho - love Rick's work. Completely.
Great Cabachons - HUGE selection
Intergem Show Timonium MD - I go to the show that's first weekend in July - I save up and blow a TON of money - oh, sorry, I invest wisely in quality gems. The show is normally around the 3rd.....if anyone is local and wants to meet up, let me know!
Favorite suppliers:

Thunderbird Supply (keep an eye out for the Super Sales - all metals at the 500 oz pricebreak..gotta love that!)
Hagstoz - for metals mostly
Monsterslayer - oh for a little bit of this and a little bit of that.
Of course there are TONS of other suppliers that are wonderful - these are just the ones where "I" have frequent flier status. ;-)

OOO! Thanks for the gemstone suppliers! The only gem resources I know of are about 120 miles away. Contenti makes me drool when I go there, but I'm refraining until I have like...a work space...resources...etc.
